Abel’s story

From 20 years of service to serving small businesses.

Abel Garza spent 20 years in the United States Air Force, with roles in logistics leadership and computer systems analysis. Those years taught him how complex missions succeed: clear plans, the right people, and every piece in its place.

Alongside his service, Abel has always been an entrepreneur at heart. He started building businesses on the side, including Bicoholics.com, an online jewelry brand he grew to the top of Google search in its niche and sold to an investment firm for five times earnings, and The Creative Entrepreneur (TCE), which he ran from 2017 to 2020, offering business coaching, marketing, branding, and lead generation.

Along the way he earned an MBA from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Master’s in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, on top of a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Park University.

Grey Bug Consulting brings all of that together. Abel knows what it’s like to build a website, set up the books, register in SAM.gov, and work through certification paperwork, because he’s done it for his own companies. Now he helps other owners do the same, in English or Spanish.
